The systems are Saint Joseph Mercy Health System, a five-hospital system in Livonia, and Mercy Health, a five-hospital system in Muskegon, Mich.
The combined entity will comprise 2,357 beds, nine outpatient health centers, 12 urgent care facilities and 35-plus specialty centers.
The move is part of Trinity Health’s strategy to integrate teams and resources among all its entities to better serve its patients.
Officials tapped Rob Casalou to serve as president and CEO of the combined organization.
