County Commission has urged the hospital to consider the offer, which would create a $30 million profit for the county. However, Helen Keller’s CEO has said publicly the hospital is not for sale, according to the report.

Additionally, Helen Keller signed an affiliation with Huntsville (Ala.) Hospital in November, and the agreement gives Huntsville the first right of refusal if the hospital chooses to sell, according to the report.
