Memphis’ Baptist Memorial Merges With Arkansas Clinic System

Memphis, Tenn.-based Baptist Memorial Health Care and NEA Clinic, based in Jonesboro, Ark., have merged, according to a report by KAIT News.

The new non-profit health system, named NEA Baptist Health System, will combine Baptist Memorial with Arkansas’ largest physician-owned medical group, according to the report.

Under the agreement, Baptist paid NEA an undisclosed sum and the new system to construct a new hospital in Jonesboro.

Current management at both the health system and clinic will remain.
