Summit Health acquires Pennsylvania family practice

Chambersburg, Pa.-based Summit Health acquired Franklin Family Practice, a two-physician practice also in Chambersburg.

FFP will officially shutter its facility June 20. The practice’s two physicians will relocate to Summit Primary Care-8th Street in Chambersburg July 3.

“We wanted to become part of Summit Health because of its reputation for excellence and the priority that is placed on the care of patients,” said Ernest Charlesworth, MD. “We are excited to continue providing care to our patients and the community as part of Summit Primary Care.”
