Spartanburg Regional Healthcare Joins Novant’s Service Group

Novant Health in Winston-Salem, N.C., and Spartanburg (S.C.) Regional Healthcare System have signed a letter of intent to work together within Novant Health Shared Services.

Spartanburg Regional represents the first South Carolina hospital to join Novant’s group, which focuses on supply chain management and other operational collaborations. Spartanburg Regional will retain its autonomy and governance.

Earlier this week, Novant added Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville, Ga., to the group. There are now six hospitals and health systems within Novant Health Shared Services.
