According to the agreement, HGB will be a formal affiliate of Sparrow Health System for a three-year period. The organizations will also establish a community fund to support community and regional health efforts, worth $1 million. The fund will be managed by the newly-created Eaton Community Health.
The organizations had previously worked together under a nonexclusive contract for the past four years.
