Joining the Mayo Clinic Care Network — a national network of organizations committed to using physician collaboration to better serve patients and their families — Shriners Hospitals for Children will be able to offer providers and patients convenient access to additional expertise from Mayo Clinic.
Dale W. Stauss, chairman of the board of directors for Shriners Hospitals for Children, expressed optimism over the new partnership, citing the two organizations’ shared mission of providing high-quality care to every patient through integrated clinical practice, education and research.
David Hayes, MD, medical director for the Mayo Clinic Care network, echoed Mr. Stauss’ sentiments, saying, “We have a relationship that dates back to our founders, and we’ve been proud to work with Shriners Hospitals on behalf of patients. Through the network, we’ll be able to work even more closely, sharing what we know to enhance locally delivered care.”
