Shelby Memorial Hospital joins Hospital Sisters Health System, rebrands

Shelby Memorial Hospital in Shelbyville, Ill., joined Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System Monday, according to the Central Illinois Healthcare Herald & Review.

As part of the agreement, the hospital rebranded as Good Shepherd Hospital.

The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Good Samaritan Hospital Board Chair Michael Kiley said the hospital had been searching for a partner since 2014. Mr. Kiley was appointed as chairman of the hospital board.
