Under the terms of the agreement, Saratoga Hospital and Albany Medical Center will become affiliated partners in a regional, integrated healthcare system. Both hospitals will continue to have their own board of trustees and senior management teams will remain intact.
Saratoga Hospital and Albany Medical Center leaders are currently working out the details of a definitive agreement and will then seek state approval. They expect the affiliation to be complete sometime during 2016.
