Brown County Regional HealthCARE Replaces CEO With Turnaround Specialist

Georgetown, Ohio-based Brown County Regional HealthCARE has replaced CEO Michael Patterson with turnaround specialist Joan Phillips, according to a News Democrat report.

Ms. Phillips is employed by Bowman, N.D.-based Southwest Healthcare Services, a private company planning to purchase BCRHC. Mr. Patterson, who had served as CEO since 2005, was reclassified as a consultant to help transition the system from public to private ownership.

Ms. Phillips has been working at Brown County General Hospital since January through a management/consultant agreement between the hospital, county and Southwest.
