The boards of both organizations have signed a letter of intent to move negotiations forward. The affiliation would provide access to high-quality, affordable healthcare services in the Harrison-Rockingham County community.
The RMH board began seeking affiliation with another system in early 2010. The affiliation between RMH and Sentara will most likely take place in early 2011, according to the release.
