Rennova Health rebrands recently acquired Tenn. hospital

West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Rennova Health rebranded Oneida, Tenn.-based Scott County Community Hospital, the facility it acquired last month.

The hospital’s management team invited residents in the area to submit suggestions for the hospital’s new name. Officials chose to rename the community hospital Big South Fork Medical Center.

Rennova Health closed the acquisition Jan. 17 after eight months of discussions. Officials said they expect Big South Fork Medical Center to be up and running by the third quarter of 2017.
