Quorum Health to divest 77-bed Georgia hospital

Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health, the 35-hospital spinoff of Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems, signed a definitive agreement Feb. 1 to divest one of its hospitals in Georgia.

The health system has agreed to sell Clearview Regional Medical Center, a 77-bed hospital in Monroe, Ga., and its associated assets.

Officials expect to close the transaction during the first quarter of 2018.
