ProHealth Care Joins Dean Health Plan

Waukesha, Wis.-based ProHealth Care has signed an agreement to add all of its physicians, facilities and services to Madison, Wis.-based Dean Health Plan’s insurance network, effective Dec. 1.

The agreement includes ProHealth’s 90 primary care physicians, specialty physicians and the system’s three hospitals: Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Oconomowoc (Wis.) Memorial Hospital and the Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin in Waukesha, according to a news release.

Dean serves 400,000 members in 20 counties in south central Wisconsin. The agreement with ProHealth is the insurer’s first comprehensive agreement in Waukesha County, according to the release.
