Massachusetts Cardiology Group Joins Southcoast Health System

Fall River, Mass.-based Truesdale Cardiology has joined Southcoast Physician Services, part of New Bedford, Mass.-based Southcoast Health System, according to a Herald News report.

The integration of the five-physician practice with the health system will create the Southcoast Division of Cardiology.

The deal is expected to improve efficiencies, better coordinate care and help recruit more cardiologists to the group, according to the report.
