Under the agreement, Penn State Health would become the sole corporate owner of Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, Pa., the hospital’s Ortenzio Heart Center and affiliated outpatient and urgent care centers.
The transaction, which still needs regulatory approval, is expected to close June 30, 2020.
Holy Spirit joined the Geisinger system in October 2014.
Penn State Health is in Hersey, Pa., and Geisinger is located in Danville, Pa.
