PeaceHealth already provides management and support services to the fiscally struggling hospital but has no financial stake in Ocean Beach’s operations. The health system and hospital originally expected to have a draft agreement concerning an expanded partnership ready in July but have delayed the decision in order to ensure their healthcare philosophies sync up, PeaceHealth spokesman Tim Strickland told the News.
PeaceHealth and Ocean Beach originally announced in July that they were beginning discussions to expand their partnership.
