Here are four things to know about the transaction.
1. On Feb. 1, Physical Therapists Clinic will become a part of Passavant Rehabilitation Services.
2. Under the acquisition, Physical Therapists Clinic will rename its two locations. The Jacksonville facility will become Passavant Rehab Clinic-Jacksonville, and the Beardstown facility will become Passavant Rehab Clinic-Beardstown.
3. Physical Therapists Clinic employees will remain at both clinics.
4. Harry Schmidt, president and CEO of Passavant, said in a statement that the “acquisition allows us to provide increased rehabilitation opportunities for the patients in our service area as we continue our mission to improve the health of the people and communities we serve.”
