HCA expects its purchase of the foundation’s approximately 40 percent ownership of HealthONE to close in the third quarter of 2011.
HCA and the foundation created HealthONE as a joint venture in 1995. It includes seven hospitals, 13 ambulatory surgery centers, more than 30 occupational medicine/rehabilitation, specialty and outpatient diagnostic imaging clinics as well as the critical care transportation program AirLife Denver.
