Mercy Health-Toledo (Ohio) will launch a network of urgent cares through the acquisition of 10 facilities, with new ownership effective April 1.

Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare plans to acquire Lewiston-based Central Maine Healthcare by the end of the year. 

Ithaca, N.Y.-based Cayuga Health System and Elmira, N.Y.-based Arnot Health have merged into a five-hospital system with more than $1 billion in annual revenue. 

Healthcare mergers and acquisitions decreased 9% between 2023 and 2024, but an increase in deals is expected in 2025, according to PwC.
