Ripon (Wis.) Medical Center is now a member of Agnesian HealthCare, based in Fond du Lac, Wis., according to an AHC news release.
The affiliation went into full effect yesterday. The boards of both organizations had met in early May to approve a definitive agreement, which outlines commitment to plan for a replacement hospital in Ripon, enhance service lines and implement an electronic medical record at RMC.
Steve Little, AHC executive vice president, said the transition will be seamless for patients. RMC will retain its name and current services with the addition of specialties.
