Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center to buy more land for expansion

Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center plans to buy a 2.5-acre site in Columbus, Ohio, to support an expansion, according to The Columbus Business Journal.

OSU Wexner Medical Center, headquartered in Columbus, said it wants the parcel of land to support the growth of its cancer programs in its Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center. 

In late November, the medical center’s board approved the purchase of 7.5 acres of land nearby for $43 million, according to the report.
