The acquisition makes Northwest Health, made up of five hospitals, one of the largest health networks in the state, with a combined medical staff of 540 physicians and 2, 200 employees, according to the article.
Siloam Springs officials said the hospital will continue to operate under local leadership.
“Aligning together will support all of our efforts to deliver safe, quality patient care while positioning our network for long-term success and strength,” said Patrick Kerrwood, CEO of Siloam Springs. “Our mission remains the same and what we do on a day-to-day level — caring for the people who live in our community — won’t change.”
