The nine-physician cardiology group has clinic locations in Southampton, Hampton bays, Wading River and Riverhead. Under terms of the transaction, all four practices will rebrand as Northwell Health Physician Partners Cardiology. The practices will complement the services currently offered by Riverhead, N.Y.-based Peconic Bay Medical Center, owned by Northwell Health.
The acquisition took place Sept. 30.
Northwell officials have yet to disclose whether the acquisition will involve any changes to patients’ insurance providers.
Eastern Suffolk Cardiology was previously a part of Stony Brook (N.Y.) Medicine, according to 27east.com.
