If approved, the plan would give NuHealth access to a $450 million reserve set aside by New York State to assist “vulnerable providers” in restructuring operations for financial stability, establishing collaborative affiliations and improving health outcomes.
According to the report, NuHealth would restructure its care delivery model while also strengthening its clinical affiliation with North Shore-LIJ Health.
