Navicent Health, The Medical Center collaborate on program to help patients with atrial fibrillation

Macon, Ga.-based Navicent Health and Bowling Green, Ky.-based The Medical Center are partnering on a program to raise awareness and offer medical assistance to patients with atrial fibrillation.

The program will employ a multidisciplinary approach to implement the latest evidence-based practices to improve the health outcomes for those with the condition. Both institutions will also offer educational programs for physicians, clinicians and patients to teach management techniques and best practices.  

“The Medical Center [and] Navicent Health [are] committed to helping those with AFib manage their disease, leading to better patient outcomes. We are leading the region in the treatment of AFib, and look forward to sharing success stories of patients treated through these new endeavors,” said Chris Hendry, MD, CMO of Navicent Health.
