MSU HealthTeam joins national comprehensive care partnership

East Lansing-based Michigan State University HealthTeam has joined Comprehensive Primary Care Plus, a nationwide partnership dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare for patients at lower costs.

MSU HealthTeam and its affiliated clinics join the roughly 2,900 primary care practices involved in the partnership.

Comprehensive Primary Care Plus, a five-year, primary care medical home model, was created through a collaboration between CMS and 54 state Medicaid agencies, commercial health plans, self-insured businesses and primary care providers across the country. The model launched in January 2017.
