Minnesota’s Wheaton Community Hospital Merges With North Dakota’s Sanford Health

Wheaton (Minn.) Community Hospital and Medical Center and Fargo, N.D.-based Sanford Health have officially merged, according to a Valley News report.

The partnership, in which talks began several years ago, changes the hospital’s name to the Sanford Wheaton Medical Center.

All Wheaton employees will become Sanford employees, with no expected changes in services.
