Bronson will become the “operating partner” of the hospital by acquiring Novi, Mich.-based Trinity Health’s 50 percent interest and a 1 percent stake from BCHS Community Partners.
As part of the proposed deal, the two groups would join to create a new regional health system with a board comprised of representatives from Bronson and BCHS Community Partners.
The groups plan to complete the deal by the middle of 2011, according to the release.
