Meet M Health Fairview, a new brand linking 13 hospitals in Minnesota

Minneapolis-based Fairview Health Services, University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians have launched their new brand: M Health Fairview.

The new brand closely intertwines University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis with Fairview's network of hospitals and primary care clinics. The organizations launched the rebrand after announcing a joint clinical agreement in September 2018.

The new brand will be introduced in television and digital ads, and the M Health Fairview name will begin to appear in hospitals and clinics in November. The new partnership creates a network of 13 hospitals, according to Fairview's website.

"A major goal of our collaboration is to reinvent healthcare by creating an easier, simpler experience," Fairview President and CEO James Hereford said in a news release. "By organizing care around health conditions rather than being constrained by traditional boundaries, we are simplifying the care experience and bringing top experts together for patients no matter where they see us, which could include a clinic, hospital, home, the workplace, or via telemedicine."
