Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania to Build $52.8M Patient Lab

Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa., is approved to build a $52.8 million patient lab facility, according to a Daily Item report.

The 115,000-square-foot lab will be connected to the Hospital for Advanced Medicine and will perform tests for various Geisinger Health System facilities. The building will also include a penthouse to store mechanical equipment.

Construction is scheduled to begin next January and be completed in August 2015.
