LifeBridge Health acquires 2 outpatient surgery centers

Baltimore-based LifeBridge Health acquired majority interest in two medical facilities — Owings Mills, Md.-based SurgiCenter of Baltimore and Ellicott City (Md.) Ambulatory Surgery Center.

The Owings Mills location has five operating rooms and two treatment rooms. The freestanding ambulatory center in Ellicott City also offers a number of services in orthopedic procedures.

“At LifeBridge Health, our vision is to extend care beyond the walls of our hospitals and bring needed services into more communities, making it easier for people to access health care,” said David Krajewski, CFO of LifeBridge Health and president of LifeBridge Health Partners. “Across the Baltimore region, we are opening more medical offices and clinics that are convenient for our patients.”
