Under the proposed agreement, Lee Health would open and begin operating a family practice clinic, rehabilitation facility and wellness center — all located in the center of the town — in March.
Babcock Ranch would provide the health system with roughly $1.4 million in financial incentives during a five-year period as part of the agreement, the report states.
The deal is subject to approval by Lee Health’s governing board. Officials said they expect the board to discuss the proposal during the coming weeks, according to the report.
