Kindred Healthcare sells 12 hospitals to Curahealth for $27.5M

Kindred Healthcare completed the sale of 12 long-term acute care hospitals to Curahealth for $27.5 million.

The 12 hospitals have a total of 783 licensed beds in Arizona, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. Kindred Healthcare expects the hospitals to generate combined revenues of approximately $215 million for fiscal year 2016.

“We are excited to complete this transaction with Kindred and look forward to providing high-quality healthcare to existing and future patients in the markets these hospitals serve,” Curahealth CEO Chester Crouch said.
