The shared vision of all three parties is to form an integrated delivery system in which the Dunkirk campus would take the lead in delivering traditional, inpatient hospital services, while the Irving campus would become the region’s leading ambulatory location. Both locations would maintain individual emergency rooms.
Hospital officials from Brooks Memorial and TLC Health said they informed the New York State Department of Health of their intent to pursue a partnership earlier this month.
Throughout the rest of the year, the organizations will continue to examine potential affiliation models and engage in operational integration planning, as well as complete and submit the necessary legal and regulatory filings for approval.
