Johns Hopkins Medicine, Chinese diagnostic company partner

Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore has partnered with Chinese company DIAN Diagnostics to spread DIAN’s pathology lab services nationwide, according to The Baltimore Sun.

According to the collaboration memorandum of understanding — signed by Paul Rothman, CEO of Johns Hopkins Medicine and Haibin Chen, CEO of DIAN — Johns Hopkins pathologists will help train the Chinese physicians.

The DIAN physicians and their patients will have access to Johns Hopkins’ diagnostic services at labs in 17 Chinese cities, according to the report.
