Jefferson Healthcare initially proposed acquiring Discovery Behavioral Health. However, the organization rescinded that proposal earlier this year.

Now, the two organizations are making efforts to integrate mental health and primary care through an affiliation, according to the report. Details of the proposed agreement between the two organizations have not been disclosed pending examination by legal counsel.

Jefferson Healthcare and Discovery Behavioral Health plan to divulge details during a Sept. 20 meeting.
