The Business Council of Westchester has confirmed the hospital acknowledged the potential transaction earlier this week, according to the report. The proposed partnership is still subject to regulatory approvals.

The deal would further expand NewYork-Presbyterian’s presence in Westchester County. In July, NewYork-Presbyterian and Bronxville, N.Y.-based Lawrence Hospital announced a partnership aimed at enhancing care, improving access and lowering healthcare costs for residents of Bronxville and surrounding counties in Westchester County. Lawrence Hospital has been renamed NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital.
