With the addition of HSHS and Prevea Health, Integrated Health Network now includes 42 hospitals, 500 clinics and more than 5,000 physicians across the state of Wisconsin, according to a news release.
“The high standards demonstrated by HSHS and Prevea Health make them an excellent addition to IHN as we continue to create a collaborative, statewide network of hospitals, clinics and providers dedicated to offering the kind of healthcare we all want,” Catherine Jacobson, IHN board chairwoman and president and CEO of Froedtert Health, which combines with the Medical College of Wisconsin to form Milwaukee-based Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin regional health care network, said in the release. “With the addition of HSHS and Prevea Health, more people will benefit from IHN’s goal to provide exceptional health care close to home, by doctors they know and trust, at a cost they can afford.”
Prevea Health president and CEO Ashok Rai, MD, added, “Joining this pioneering group of collaborative partners enables us to develop new, cost-effective ways to coordinate care, share best practices and succeed in the coming era of population health management. It will also help strengthen our Prevea360 Health Plan offerings in northeast Wisconsin.”
