Holy Cross Hospital, Sinai Hospital Merger Moves Ahead

The merger between Holy Cross Hospital and Sinai Health System, both Chicago-based, is moving ahead, according to a Southwest News Herald report.

The two organizations are currently in the due diligence process and expect to sign a definitive agreement this fall. Upon completion of the deal and approval from federal and state regulators, Holy Cross would continue to be a Catholic Hospital while becoming a part of the non-Catholic Sinai Health System.
