Detroit-based Henry Ford Health has added Cornerstone Medical Group to its Henry Ford Medical Group, effective April 1.
More than 80 Cornerstone physicians and advanced practice providers will join the existing 3,400 physicians, researchers and advanced practice providers within Henry Ford Medical Group, according to an April 1 health system news release.
The physicians will also participate in the Mosaic Clinically Integrated Network, which includes more than 5,000 providers across 13 Michigan counties.
Cornerstone Medical Group physicians became part of the Henry Ford Medical Group under the clinical partner category, expanding the group’s care model and provider network.
Cornerstone Medical Group includes 25 offices in the Detroit area offering family and internal medicine, pediatrics, endocrinology, hospitalist care, podiatry and colorectal surgery. The practices are now named Henry Ford Cornerstone.
