Under the agreement, 20-bed Doctors Memorial will facilitate patient access to practitioners at 176-bed Gulf Coast in specialized clinical services. The hospitals will also collaborate on the transfer of knowledge between their medical teams and work to improve care by incorporating the best available medical practices, according to a news release.
Both institutions will keep their independence and also offer community and medical education programs as part of the partnership.
