The practice will remain at its current location, officials noted. However, all inpatient surgeries scheduled after Jan. 1 will be performed at Scranton, Pa.-based Geisinger Community Medical Center.

As part of the agreement, Geisinger will invest $1.5 million in the practice, upgrading its technology and equipment and installing an Epic EHR system.
