The partnership also includes the creation of a joint urgent care strategy between the two institutions and the development of medical systems to support data sharing, according to the article.
“Maybe there are areas in the county where it may be helpful if we established a site, so we can see people somewhere else in the community,” said Susan Walker, CEO of Tri-State Community Health Center. “We don’t know exactly where those will be, but we will be taking a look at that.”
“We are working with Tri-State to find a collaborative agreement for primary care, including urgent care, and possibly them relocating some of their services up to our campus and us moving some of our services down here to their campus,” said Jason Hawkins, CEO of Fulton County Medical Center.
