Florida’s Health Central, Orlando Health Plan Merger

Ocoee, Fla.-based Health Central plans to merge with Orlando, Fla.’s Orlando Health, according to an Orlando Business Journal report.

Orlando Health offered to invest $120 million in Health Central over five years, outbidding Florida Health by $20 million.

Hospital leaders said negotiations of the merger may take up to six months.
