“Erlanger Health System’s strategic affiliation agreement with VUMC and its membership in the network creates significant strategic opportunities to expand the scope of healthcare services in the geographic regions served by both organizations,” said Kevin Spiegel, president and CEO of Erlanger.
The Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network is currently comprised of 56 hospitals and more than 235 physician practices in Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi and Virginia. The main goals of the network include improving quality and cost effectiveness of care.
Through their strategic affiliation, Erlanger and VUMC will work toward developing new clinical programs and services.
