Desert Mountain Consultants’ 14 physicians provide anesthesia services at facilities such as HonorHealth John C. Lincoln Medical Center and HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center, both in Phoenix, and several ambulatory surgery centers in the area.
Envision also recently acquired Alabama Neonatal Medicine Dec. 6.
“We are excited to partner with Envision and move into the next chapter of our future. With healthcare continuing to evolve, we feel that adding the right strategic partner will allow us to focus on patient care and put our practice in position to succeed for the long term,” said Mark Wix, MD, president of Desert Mountain Consultants.
“Desert Mountain Consultants is a premier practice in Maricopa County, and this new partnership provides a natural extension of Envision’s existing anesthesia and other multispecialty offerings in the greater Phoenix area. Having physicians effectively work and grow together has always been a core part of our mission and is a critical component in collaborating with our hospital partners to create high-performing clinical networks for the benefit of their patients and the communities in which they reside,” said Robert Coward, president of Envision’s physician services business.
