It wasn’t easy, but it was doable,” said Elmer Ellis, president and CEO of ETRMCHS in a statement. “In today’s rapidly evolving and challenging healthcare environment, regional health systems have come to realize that partnering with larger organizations is helpful in many ways.”
Officials expect to finalize a partnership with an interested party by the end of 2017.
