DoD awards Cardinal Health $1B contract for medical devices, supplies

The United States Department of Defense has selected Cardinal Health to provide medical devices and supplies to U.S. military services and federal civilian agencies, according to a Med Device Online article.

More specifically, Cardinal Health will provide medical devices and supplies to the Army, Navy, Air Force, the Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies in 29 states.

According to the article, Cardinal Health’s contract with the DoD will run from fiscal year 2015 through 2016.
