MinuteClinic, the retail medical clinic chain belonging to Woonsocket, R.I.-based CVS Health, joined the Alere eScreen Occupational Health Network to provide workplace health testing.
Through the partnership, employees at businesses belonging to the network will be able to visit one of more than 1,100 MinuteClinic locations for a number of services, including biometric screenings, vaccinations, drug testing and the screening and monitoring of select health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
Employees required to undergo mandated workplace health testing can visit Alere eScreen's website and choose the nearest testing location, including MinuteClinic facilities. After entering required demographic data, patients print out an "e-passport" listing the required tests to give to providers.
